I had the same feelings when my son was little. I promise it will get easier. She will cling to her dad, she will sleep later than you, you will get to have (relatively) unrestricted free time again. It’s ok to look forward to having those things again, and it doesn’t mean you’re not “cherishing the moments.” You can be both over the moon for her and still be a person.
